CHIROPRACTIC IN NEURODEVELOPMENT
8:30-13:00
Neurodevelopment is hierarchical. Complex cognitive and neurological functions need, in order to function properly, earlier hierarchical phases to have structured adequately. Otherwise, when disrupted, the complexity of human expression will be less efficacious.
For academic purposes only, the neurodevelopment is explained through mainly 2 streams that are interconnected.
- Neurological development: referring to pure neurological functions (Sensory-Motor)
Cognitive development: referring to emotional-cognitive expression. - During the webinar the attendees will see which are the primitive reflexes and how to deal with those that are still present when they shouldn’t be. During the seminar Dr Vannetiello will focus on the chiropractic contribution to the management of babies and children with neurodevelopmental issues. He’s going to teach how to be effective working in a multidisciplinary team that also helps parents to deal with their babies.
The seminar will focus on case management from the chiropractors’ perspective: how to work on the neurology and at the same time with the cognitive development of the baby. That’ll maximize the results of the chiropractic adjustment. The attendees will learn, from Dr. Vannetiello’s experience, key concepts and strategic clinical applications of neuroscience to help patients in different phases of neurodevelopment.

CRANIAL KEYS FOR THE CHIROPRACTOR
9:00-18:15
The most important things chiropractors need to know about the cranium. Understand cranial dynamics and its influence on the spine at all ages. Dr Amaya Alonso will take us on a journey of exploration of the cranium starting from a general review of the anatomy. The seminar will then focus on the meningeal system and the basic movements of the CSF. All that is going to serve us to understand how the cranium development affects the distortions of the spine through the Dural attachments. Once we covered the origin/cause of the issue, Dr Amaya is sharing with us the most important and basic corrections and adjustments we can apply to the cranium and the rest of the body to restore its proper function. The attendees will learn how to assess and adjust, from a chiropractor’s perspective, the most important cranial dysfunctions in the baby and in the adult. Other topics connected to the cranial dynamics covered in the seminar are dental work and the tongue. The seminar is going to be very practical, everything that is taught can be applied straight away in practice.
